Pastor William & Norma Summers

Pastor William Summers was born and raised on the northeast side of San Antonio. Growing up in a broken home, involved in gangs and addicted to drugs, there was no light at the end of the path he was on. That all changed in 2001 when Pastor William gave his life to Christ, the true and only light of the world. He faithfully served God. In 2005 he married his lovely wife Norma and God has blessed them with 5 beautiful children.

Since then, Pastor William and Norma Summers have consecrated their lives to the ministry of Jesus Christ, serving as Bible Study and Church Leaders. In 2011 they answered God’s call to take over a pioneer work in Universal City, Texas. With God’s anointing and a sincere passion for people, they have been able to assist individuals and families that struggled in all areas including addiction to drugs and alcohol, broken marriages , suicidal tendencies and a number of other carnal and spiritual battles. Fast forward to January of 2017 and again Pastor William and Norma have answered the call to spread the gospel and love of Jesus Christ and are pioneering a Church in DFW.

Serving God for over 23 years, Pastor William and Norma Summers are excited to take this step of faith, and look forward to building a work In Dallas. So whether you are lost in a world of confusion, bound by mindsets or addictions, or looking for a Bible based Jesus loving Church, Pastor William and Norma invite you to come and experience all God has for you through His Word, prayer, worship and relationship. The Bible says in Romans 10:17, “faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” So come and hear what God may have to say to you today.

At The Door, we pursue the Glory of God through worship, ministry, giving and education. We strive to connect with Jesus Christ and to each other, in order to magnify His name. At the heart of everything we do is the understanding that we must love God with all our heart, with all our soul, and with all our mind, and to treat our neighbors as we wish to be treated ourselves.

What We Believe

Since 2017, we have striven to create a strong community driven by the teachings of Jesus Christ, which are the guiding force in the lives of our growing congregation. Through our worship, activities and special community, we give our members the chance to become fully immersed in the wisdom and teachings of the Lord.
